Life & Health Benefits Coordinator
Job Duties: Implement company life and health benefits policies and procedures. Input and maintain all relevant information in software programs used by the company (BenefitPoint, Employee Navigator, ImageRight) and maintain all supporting document records. Attend weekly/bi-weekly benefit meetings as requested. Review open enrollment applications for completion and process applications. Ensure eligibility for open enrollment applications and ongoing benefits, including conducting account audits to ensure compliance. Track and maintain information on clients, benefit carriers and commissions. Administer, direct and review employee benefit programs, including the integration of benefit programs following mergers and acquisitions. Analyze data to inform personnel decisions. Liaise between departments or other groups to improve function and/or communication. Oversee account management and support. Provide assistance in answering client questions concerning claims questions, billing and late notices, including Spanish-speaking clients. Provide ACA compliance education and compliance review.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Management or related field work with coursework in healthcare information technology, economics and systems.
