The Account Executive role is responsible for meeting the strategic and technical needs of the clients while managing a team of service professionals toward the goal of securing new business and retaining existing clients.

Responsibilities:

Work hand-in-hand with the Producer to meet the needs of the client.

• Manage a book of commercial insurance by marketing new business, renewing existing business, and analyzing coverage and risk exposure.

• Build relationships with current and prospective clients to better serve them and their portfolio of insurance policies.

• Perform coverage comparisons, contract reviews, and negotiate with underwriters, as necessary.

• Oversee all invoicing, paperwork, and internal processing of assigned accounts.

• Prepare reports, proposals, and other documentation.

• Lead and mentor a team of Account Managers and Assistant Account Managers.

• Perform other duties and projects, as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Active Property and Casualty Insurance Agent License (required)

• Commercial Insurance Account Management experience (required)

• Strong Microsoft Office skills

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

• AMS360 experience a plus

• Interest in leadership and mentoring

• Possess a strong work ethic, positive attitude and be a team player

The Assistant Account Manager role is responsible for meeting the strategic and technical needs of the clients while working in a team of service professionals toward the goal of securing new business and retaining existing clients.

Responsibilities:

• Build relationships with current and prospective clients to better serve them and their portfolio of insurance policies.

• Work in a team approach to service the clients’ needs and provide support to senior managers.

• Manage a book of commercial insurance by issuing certificates, processing endorsements, policy checking, proposal preparation, and invoicing clients.

• Maintain internal processing and documentation of assigned accounts.

• Continually grow toward becoming an Account Manager through mentoring and education.

Qualifications:

• Active Property and Casualty Insurance Agent License (required)

• Commercial Insurance Account Management experience (required)

• Strong Microsoft Office skills

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

• AMS360 experience a plus

• Interest in leaning and growing as an insurance professional
